Conflicting Sanity

Maybe he would not have gone through it if he had it to do all over again. It sounded funny saying to do it all over again when it was only about a year. Yet, this year was truly the loneliest time in his life. In the past, there was someone special who could take away the burn that would begin to churn in his heart. But not this year. This was one that had only dry tear ducts that ached in a closed cake. Through the thoughts and dreams of Frank Thomas, Conflicting Sanity offers a vicarious medium for soul-searching. From the simplicity of childhood to a vortex of strained emotion, Frank unwittingly immerses himself into emotional isolation as an adult. His adolescence seems idyllic-spending hours at a time at the beach with his Aunt Blanch. But you can't stay young forever. Frank must deal with the stress of his father's death, his training as an independent psychotherapist, and his young nephew's life-threatening illness. He also struggles with interpersonal relationships and observes that a lack of passion has been adopted by the masses. He is ultimately consumed with questioning who is sane and what makes for a functional philosophy on how to lead his life.
